A monochrome studio editorial for Tokyo Talkies, built on a single risk: commit entirely to red, then set it against a cold blue backdrop and let the tension carry the frame. Monochrome is unforgiving. With one color across the garment, styling, and skin, there's nowhere to hide a flat exposure or a muddy tone. The approach here was hard, directional light to hold the structure of the fabric, warm skin against cool background for separation, and posing that fills the frame rather than sitting politely inside it.
